On a periodic basis, we organize events in support of local organizations and causes. In 2025, we organized a fundraiser to support the University Hospital Foundation.

About the University Hospital Foundation:  
The University Hospital Foundation (UHF) is an organization dedicated to a powerful, singular purpose: to continuously seek, inspire and support bold solutions to seemingly insurmountable challenges and ignite new discoveries in health. Responsible for raising and managing funds to advance patient care, research and healthcare education at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic, the Foundation strives to transform and redefine health in the Edmonton area, throughout Alberta, and around the world so that everyone can live a longer, healthier life. 

 

Our Efforts:

• Four-Neighborhood Bottle Drive: Mobilizing a volunteer team of recent high-school graduates and community members, we went door-to-door in the Westbrook, Aspen Gardens, Greenfield, and Blue Quill neighborhoods to collect recyclable bottles and cans, and to drive awareness of the UHF's value to our community and their funding needs.

• Free Jazz Concert: We orchestrated a free jazz concert at Aspen Gardens Park to celebrate the successful Bottle-Drive and the incredible volunteers who made it possible. This was also an avenue for UHF representatives to directly speak to community members and to receive contributions directly.

• Campaign Website: The Bottle-Drive and the Concert were means to drive potential donors to the UHF's Edmonton Hope Ensemble Campaign Page to contribute directly to this cause..

The Impact:
Through this fundraiser, the Edmonton Hope Ensemble is proud to support the Foundation's efforts in bringing innovation to life on a daily basis, impacting nearly 2,500 patients per day!
