Sharanya is passionate about saxophones, though she also plays clarinet and guitar. While she believes the 1564 chord progression gets too much criticism, she still tends to avoid it in her compositions. She’s performed with the MacEwan Youth Jazz Orchestra and will be playing with the Littlebirds Senior Big Band in September, which is also when she’ll begin her first year as a Biological Sciences student at the University of Alberta, with a minor in Music.
